Operators in the food industry are responsible for complying with the requirements set out in food legislation, from production to distribution of the foodstuff. Under Regulation (EU) 1169/2011, there must be no doubt as to: the nature, identity, qualities, composition, quantity, durability, country of origin or place of provenance, and the method of manufacture or production of a foodstuff.
Food fraud is regularly identified by public authorities, which is why Phytocontrol offers you the opportunity to check and identify the authenticity of your plant species, meat and fish in agricultural production, processed food products, and animal feed.
Phytocontrol also offers to secure your supplies and check for the absence of vanilla adulteration.
