Dithiocarbamates belong to the fungicide family. The main pesticides in this group are: maneb, mancozeb, metiram, propineb, thiram, ziram and zineb, divided into 3 families: DMD, EBD, and PBD.
The use of certain dithiocarbamates is authorised in France on fruit trees, vines, vegetables and cereals.
Determination of dithiocarbamate content (expressed as CS2) has its limits, with risks of false positives on certain matrices.
