Measure the assessment of food safety and food compliance
Phytocontrol Audit Conseil Formation is accredited* (scope and locations available on the COFRAC website) to standard NF EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 and the application rules of COFRAC (French Accreditation Committee), under number 3-2141, for the inspection of food activities at retail points of sale, in accordance with the Food Store Quality Standard (FSQS) managed by the Food Store Quality Association (FSQA).
The FSQS inspection carried out by Phytocontrol ACF is based on:
- A team of FSQS inspectors selected and qualified according to the requirements of the Food Store Quality Standard: skills, competencies and field experience.
- A team of managers and FSQS referents with 15 to 20 years’ experience, mastering the requirements of the standard since its creation (RAS, IFS Food Store then FSQS) and providing initial and ongoing training for inspectors.
- Recognised expertise with the major players in supermarket retail.
The purpose of FSQS inspections is to assess the level of food safety control and the compliance of food products across various points of sale. This assessment is based on the sector’s good hygiene practices, applicable regulatory requirements in the country of operation, and the sanitary control plans specific to each retail chain.
FSQS inspection results also enable points of sale, stores and retail chains to define and implement suitable corrective and improvement action plans, in order to sustainably strengthen food safety and consumer protection.
