Phytocontrol at the forefront of research: Food Chemistry Conference 2023

At Phytocontrol, innovation and research are at the heart of our company and have shaped our journey.

We are proud to share our participation in the 3rd edition of the Food Chemistry Conference (#FoodChemistry2023), held in Dresden on 12 October. This major event was an opportunity to unveil the results of our research work carried out over the past three years.

Nicolas Mialon, our PhD in authenticity, had the honour of presenting the latest breakthroughs from his research at this key event. For the first time, he explored the determination of the geographical origin of regional products through untargeted analysis. The warm reception given to his findings by the scientific community demonstrates their crucial importance.

The results of our research have major implications for food safety, product traceability and the fight against counterfeiting. Authenticating the geographical origin of regional products is emerging as a pillar of quality assurance for foodstuffs for consumers.
