Phytocontrol expands its GMO analytical offer with COFRAC accreditation for Soybean GMB151. We are the only laboratory in France accredited for this event!
In 2021, 5 new events were accredited by Phytocontrol laboratory, an expert in GMO analysis. As a reminder, earlier this year we extended our analytical offer with 4 additional accredited GMOs on the following species: Soybean SYHTØH2, Maize 5307, Maize MZIR098 and Oilseed rape Oxy-235.

GMO Soybean GMB151 is not yet authorised in Europe, but in its scientific opinion of 27 January 2021, EFSA concluded that it is safe for human and animal health and the environment.
We offer analysis of this GMO by real-time PCR, with the capacity to screen all known markers and target events.
Our thorough command of the regulatory environment for these analyses allows for a relevant focus on GMO screening by species (Soybean, Maize, Oilseed rape, Rice, Cotton, Potato, Flax, Sugar beet) and multi-species screening, covering the relevant markers and events to fully address GMO risk.

For your release samples, the laboratory offers a rush turnaround time of 12 to 24 hours, depending on detections.
