Success of our last Phytocontrol Matinale of 2018
Phytocontrol laboratory held its Matinale on 4 December in the executive boxes of Roazhon Park in Rennes.
A large audience representing stakeholders from the food industry, fresh and processed products, and institutional sectors attended this last technical morning of 2018.
On the theme of food safety, three presentations were scheduled: “New emerging analyses (antibiotics, pesticides, phycotoxins, nanoparticles, authenticity…)”, “Analytical techniques for allergen risk control”, and “Identification and control of microbiological risks along the food production chain”.
The day began with the traditional welcome breakfast in the “Club des Légendes” boxes at the Rennes football club stadium. The presentations, each lasting one hour, were given by food safety experts, with a stunning view over the pitch and stands of the legendary stadium. The morning ended with a lunch cocktail, continuing this friendly gathering and exchange between the various stakeholders concerned with analytical challenges and food safety.
Phytocontrol Matinale at the heart of the Rennes stadium
A private visit to our new laboratory “Phytocontrol Proxilab Bretagne”, located right next to the stadium, allowed our participants to discover our local service for water and food microbiology and physico-chemistry analyses. This day also marks the launch of our first local laboratory.
