PolarPODibus visits Phytocontrol
Phytocontrol was visited by the PolarPODibus, a vehicle equipped for scientific events linked to explorer Jean-Louis Etienne’s Polar POD expedition.
As a sponsor of this fantastic project, the Phytocontrol Group wanted to raise awareness among its employees of the crucial issues involved in the Southern Ocean expedition.
The Polar Pod mission is a daring project that aims to better understand polar ecosystems and contribute to the preservation of our planet. On land, the PolarPODibus, a minibus dedicated to the expedition and fitted out with scientific mediation aids, criss-crosses France to meet schools, middle and high schools, and places of scientific, technical and industrial culture.
An educational program to bring exploration to life
Clément Le Potier, the scientific mediator, guided us through this unique adventure with a program adapted to his audience :

- Total immersion in the scientific process
The Polar Pod will collect data that Phytocontrol will be able to analyze, in particular the level of contamination of pollutants and microplastics present in this ocean due to anthropic impact.
