The Phytocontrol Group is pleased to announce that it has obtained accreditation for radioactivity analysis in water since 23 January 2019: tritium activity, gross alpha activity, gross beta activity, residual gross beta activity and radon activity. The analytical methods developed at the laboratory meet the requirements of the regulatory texts.
1st French laboratory accredited in the liquid scintillation method
Phytocontrol is the first French laboratory accredited by COFRAC to the NF EN ISO 11704 standard, offering an innovative liquid scintillation method for gross alpha and beta activity analysis. Indeed, this technique offers several advantages, including simultaneous measurement of gross alpha and beta activity, simple sample preparation, high-performance detection limits with high detection yields.
Phytocontrol’s responsiveness
The optimisation of our analytical process allows the Phytocontrol laboratory to deliver radioactivity measurement results in a short turnaround time of 3 to 5 days.
Water analysis packs
As a reminder, Phytocontrol develops the full range of water analyses to meet sanitary safety requirements and offers analysis packs of type D1, D1+D2, P1, P1+P2, R, R+C, RP, RS and RSadd.
This success strengthens Phytocontrol’s position in water sanitary safety and demonstrates the expertise of the laboratory and its R&D teams in developing new analytical methods.
