Phytocontrol Proxilab Bretagne, the first local laboratory!
Tuesday 4 December 2018 marked the launch of Phytocontrol Proxilab Bretagne, the Phytocontrol Group’s first local laboratory.
Phytocontrol continues to expand in order to better address food safety, hydrology and BioPharma sector challenges, in France and across Europe.
Responsiveness and proximity have always been Phytocontrol’s strengths, and we are pleased to announce the launch of our new regional laboratory: PHYTOCONTROL PROXILAB BRETAGNE.
PHYTOCONTROL PROXILAB BRETAGNE offers the full range of analytical parameters for routine analyses:
• Food microbiology
• Water microbiology and physico-chemistry
The analytical parameters of this new laboratory were initially developed and accredited at our central laboratory in Nîmes, then transferred and validated at our Rennes site.
PHYTOCONTROL PROXILAB BRETAGNE becomes the third site of our subsidiary Phytocontrol Analytics France and is now part of our quality system. Accreditation procedures were launched at the start of 2019.
Analytical production is already operational at the new Rennes site, which receives corresponding samples for all our customers in the Grand-Ouest region. Contaminant analyses continue to be carried out at our central laboratory in Nîmes.
Logistics solutions have also been deployed, with a fleet of qualified sampling technicians for daily collections, ensuring rapid processing and full control of the cold chain.
This new setup provides our customers in the Grand-Ouest region with a responsive and competitive solution for all routine analysis needs, backed by our central laboratory.
