Phytocontrol, partner of sport and culture: Raid 4L Trophy 2018
The 21st edition of the Raid 4L Trophy takes place from 15 to 25 February 2018. This sporting, solidarity-based and eco-friendly event brings together nearly 2,900 participants each year from over 1,460 schools. This 100% student humanitarian rally is the largest in Europe.
In teams of two, crews set off from Biarritz for 10 days of racing through the magnificent landscapes of Spain and Morocco, finishing in Marrakech.
Desert tracks, dunes, breathtaking scenery, camping out, compass navigation, but also exchange, mutual aid, sharing, meeting people… all the ingredients are there for these students, coming from all corners of France, to experience a unique adventure.
The Phytocontrol analytical laboratory takes part in this event by sponsoring two students, Aubin and Gauthier, from the SeaTech engineering school at the University of Toulon. Crew 734, “4L’ment Botch”, is carrying equipment and school supplies for the most underprivileged children in Morocco. On board their Renault 4L, Aubin and Gauthier are ready to take on this challenge of over 6,000 km.
This humanitarian raid reflects values held by Phytocontrol, namely autonomy, creativity, responsibility and authenticity.
