Phytocontrol Group acquires Zest HACCP

Continuing its drive for development and innovation, the Phytocontrol Group, a specialist in water and food safety, welcomes Zest HACCP, a major player in food safety digitalisation.

This deal allows Zest HACCP to further accelerate the growth of its business within its area of expertise; it opens up new development opportunities with players present across many sectors.

For the Phytocontrol Group, this investment aims to continue meeting the demands of its customers, in France and Europe, by strengthening its position as a global partner in water and food safety across its 3 areas of excellence: Audit & inspection, Analysis, Digital traceability.

Zest HACCP becomes a subsidiary of the Phytocontrol group

Created in 2015, Zest HACCP is an application that digitalises the entire Sanitary Control Plan for all traditional and self-service departments, mainly in supermarket retail, the food industry and catering groups.

It enables full traceability of products to be managed and ensures exemplary rigour in terms of hygiene; it guarantees time and money savings by simplifying professionals’ daily tasks and overseeing their entire function.

“The digital approach to our business is a key success factor that we must fully master, both for our internal processes and for our customer offering. This first building block, dedicated to AgriFood activities, will very soon be extended to our Waters department and our Information System,” says Mikaël Bresson, Chairman and Founder of Phytocontrol Group.

This acquisition also complements the partnership that Phytocontrol laboratory has just signed with Food Expert Institute, a food hygiene consulting firm.
