Phytocontrol, a partner of sport and culture: Raid 4L Trophy 2019
The 22nd edition of the Raid 4L Trophy takes place from 21 February to 3 March 2019. This sporting, charitable and eco-friendly event brings together nearly 2,900 participants each year from more than 1,460 schools. This humanitarian rally, 100% student-run, is the largest in Europe.
In teams of two, crews set off from Biarritz for 10 days of racing through the magnificent landscapes of Spain and Morocco, with the finish planned in Marrakech.
Desert tracks, dunes, breathtaking landscapes, bivouacs, compass navigation, but also exchange, mutual aid, sharing, encounters… all the ingredients are there for a unique great adventure for these students from all over France.
For the second year, the Phytocontrol analytical laboratory takes part in this event by sponsoring two students from the Gard, Dimitri and Morgan, this time. Crew 1044, the “Team Cévennes”, is carrying equipment and school supplies for the most disadvantaged children in Morocco. On board their Renault 4L, Dimitri and Morgan are ready to take on this challenge of more than 6,000 km.
This humanitarian raid reflects the values upheld by Phytocontrol, namely autonomy, creativity, responsibility and authenticity.
