New COFRAC accreditations for Phytocontrol laboratory!
Following the latest COFRAC audits carried out at our laboratories earlier this year, Phytocontrol is proud to announce it has obtained new accreditations for innovative methods in food and water testing.
This favourable outcome guarantees the highest reliability and analytical relevance of the results delivered by Phytocontrol within the best possible timeframes.
These audits enabled the laboratory to add new analyses under fixed and flexible scopes, thereby extending its COFRAC scope of accreditation.
Food industry: newly accredited analyses
Allergens: Phytocontrol, the first French laboratory to determine sulfite content under accreditation using the innovative LC-MS/MS method.
Food physico-chemistry: New accreditation for the analysis of food proteins using the Dumas method : fast, efficient and eco-friendly (zero waste). New accreditation for BRIX analysis on processed fruit, ice cream, soft drinks and honey. Extension of the scope of accreditation for acid value and acidity in compound feed.
Food microbiology: New accreditation for the enumeration of Campylobacter spp .
Water: newly accredited analyses
Just three months after their introduction, the rapid COLILERT and ENTEROLERT methods and the qualitative Salmonella method are now carried out under COFRAC accreditation. In addition, new accreditations have been added for freshwater turbidity using the Secchi disc method and conductivity at 20°C. Phytocontrol is also extending its pesticide lists with newly accredited residues.
