Phytocontrol is organising its next technical, information and discussion morning session, on the theme
“Food safety and analytical challenges”
on Thursday 2 October 2025 from 8.30am to 12.30pm, in Rennes.
During this morning session, we will cover topics such as persistent organic pollutants, microbiology, regulations on contaminants and authenticity.
• Programme:
8.30am: Welcome
9.00am: The invisible threat: an exploration of Persistent Organic Pollutants (PFAS, dioxins, etc.) in our food and environment.
9.45am: Contaminant control plan: regulations, interpretation and developments
10.45am: Food microbiology: control methods and risk management
11.30am: How do scientific innovation and data science provide new responses to food fraud?
12.00pm: The Innov’Arbo Chair: the fruit of a committed sector
12.30pm: Buffet

Players in the food industry, fresh and processed products, distributors and institutional stakeholders
• Welcome and refreshments:
A welcome coffee will be served from 8.30am, along with a networking lunch buffet at the end of the session.
