Technical expertise.
Eric Capodanno, co-founder and scientific director of Phytocontrol Group, oversees strategic choices and method development through to production launch with the research and development teams. The R&D unit, made up of 35 employees, is based at the central laboratory in Nîmes. Coordination between strategic marketing, the technical innovation department and customer service enables the creation of an annual strategic development plan to meet environmental challenges and customer needs.
Reliability and responsiveness.
Angélique Puchois, operations director, ensures the daily management of analyses through to the delivery of results in all the Group’s laboratories, at the central laboratory in Nîmes or at Proxilab Bretagne and Proxilab Espagna in Barcelona. The Waters department holds a full range of COFRAC accreditations for water analysis, covering physico-chemistry (per LAB GTA 05), microbiology (per LAB GTA 23), radioactivity (per LAB GTA 35) and on-site sampling and testing (per LAB GTA 29).
Proximity.
Jean-Philippe Laval, Waters development director, is responsible for developing the water sector by establishing partnerships with the industry’s key players. Working with field sales teams, the Waters department’s mission is to structure requirements, ensure daily follow-up with production and support customers on technical and regulatory matters through the regulatory watch unit.
All services address the department’s challenges and needs. All sampling technicians are trained and qualified to carry out water sampling: private or public bathing water, spring water and drinking water alike. Sampling safety is a priority; the tri-temperature vehicles comply with standard NF X15-140, ensuring perfect control of the cold chain. Sampling rounds are scheduled daily according to a plan established by the logistics department, which centralises all requirements. Sales teams in France and Europe respond to customer needs and travel to present the Waters department’s services. Our customers? All public and private water sector players (local authorities, associations, utility companies…) and all establishments open to the public (individuals, campsites, hotels, restaurants…)
