Phytocontrol extends its scope of accreditation in water testing

Phytocontrol Waters, dedicated to the health and environmental safety of water, is expanding its offer with new accreditations in water analysis.

Phytocontrol’s R&D experts continue to develop ever more innovative methods suited to water pollutant issues. The results are here! COFRAC auditors have granted the laboratory their trust for the extension of accreditations at the Phytocontrol Waters site.
Phytocontrol now offers a more complete range with new accredited analyses in fresh, natural mineral and carbonated waters.

Wastewater

Wastewater carries chemical and microbiological pollutants. It comes from several activities such as domestic, industrial or agricultural use.
Always at the forefront of innovative solutions, Phytocontrol offers a complete analytical range for wastewater, such as the detection and quantification of SARS-CoV-2 by digital PCR. In addition to our wastewater monitoring offer, Phytocontrol now offers metal analysis under accreditation.

Cyanobacteria

To anticipate proliferations of toxin-producing cyanobacteria and microalgae in environmental waters, the Phytocontrol laboratory offers near real-time monitoring of the cell activity in question, to protect users and secure the economic activity linked to the resource.
Phytocontrol is also able to offer chlorophyll A and phaeopigment analysis, under accreditation, according to standard NF T 90-117. This analysis is a first indicator associated with cyanobacteria development. Indeed, during ARS checks, if the 10 μg.L-1 chlorophyll-a threshold is exceeded, an identification of the cyanobacteria present in the water will be carried out. If potentially toxin-producing genera are identified, the cyanobacteria will then be counted.
