New swimming pool water analysis programmes
Phytocontrol meets the new regulation and supports you with swimming pool water analysis.
Since 1 January 2022, the Order of 26 May 2021 on the sanitary control and monitoring of swimming pool water has introduced new analysis programmes for:
- swimming pool water
- water sampled from the natural environment, before any treatment
- water intended to supply the swimming pool water treatment system
As part of these new programmes, coliform bacteria have been removed from the parameters to be tested, and Enterococci and Pseudomonas have been added. E.Coli, Legionella and sulphite-reducing bacteria spores have become optional parameters.
In addition, two orders have been published setting out quality limits and reference values:
- The Order of 26 May 2021 on quality limits and reference values for swimming pool water, which sets criteria for organoleptic, microbiological and physico-chemical parameters.
- The Order of 26 May 2021 on the use of water not from a drinking water distribution network to supply a swimming pool basin, which sets out the content of the authorisation request file and the quality limits applicable when the person responsible for a swimming pool uses water that does not come from a water distribution network.
