2nd edition of the FOOD Risk international conference!
Two years after the 1st edition, Phytocontrol Group brought together more than 300 people at the FOOD Risk international conference held on 8 and 9 June in Nîmes.
Food fraud, product authenticity and origin, digital traceability, regulation, new tools and new analytical methods… these were among the topics covered during 17 talks and 2 round tables hosted by renowned columnist Jérôme Bonaldi over the two-day conference.
35 expert speakers – institutional stakeholders, food industry and retail professionals, academics and researchers – took part in this event with a single goal: to contribute to the food safety of tomorrow and meet consumer expectations.
The FOOD Risk conference, “to make things happen, together”
Identifying risks related to food fraud and safety is an international issue for retailers, traders and food industry manufacturers.
Between globalisation and climate change, the factors affecting food safety are numerous and push the boundaries further every day.
This year, more than ever, it was important to give international participants the opportunity to attend the conference remotely. For this second edition, FOOD Risk was also streamed online, with around a hundred participants connecting from 14 countries!
“FOOD Risk 2022 is a success because we highlighted many solutions which, as we have seen, can only be collective, cooperative and international.
