Phytocontrol is organising its next technical morning of information and discussion, on the theme
“Food safety and analytical challenges”
on Thursday 20 March 2025 from 8.30am to 12.30pm, in Strasbourg.
During this morning, we will cover topics on persistent organic pollutants, GMOs, contaminant regulations and authenticity.
• Programme:
8.30am: Welcome
9.00am: The invisible threat: an exploration of Persistent Organic Pollutants (PFAS, dioxins, etc.) in our food and environment.
9.45am: Contaminant regulation: 2024 developments, recap and 2025 outlook
10.45am: GMO analysis strategies
11.30am: How do scientific innovation and data science provide new answers against food fraud?
12.30pm: Buffet (organic and local products)
• Target audience:
Stakeholders in the food industry, fresh and processed products, distributors and institutional bodies
• Welcome and catering:
A welcome coffee will be offered from 8.30am, as well as a lunchtime cocktail to close the event.
Places are free and limited, but registration is mandatory.
