11. Retention periods

The lifetime of each cookie is limited to what is necessary for its purpose.

• the lifetime of audience measurement cookies benefiting from a consent exemption does not, in principle, exceed thirteen months and is not automatically extended with each visit;
• information obtained through these audience measurement cookies is kept for a maximum period of twenty-five months, subject to a shorter period made necessary by its purpose;
• session cookies are deleted when the browser is closed;
• other durations are specified in the cookie management module.
