What is swimming pool water?

Its quality depends on several key factors:
- Environmental conditions: water temperature and climatic conditions influence the development of micro-organisms.
- Attendance: bathers naturally introduce organic matter (sweat, cosmetics, etc.) that alters the balance of the water.
- Water treatment: filtration and disinfection must be rigorously controlled to ensure water that meets health requirements while ensuring user comfort.
Regular monitoring of physico-chemical and microbiological parameters is essential to prevent health risks, maintain treatment effectiveness and provide optimal water quality all year round.

Regulations
Swimming pool water must meet the quality limits and reference values set out in the order of 26 May 2021 issued under article D. 1332-2 of the Public Health Code and the Order of 26 May 2021 in the case of a swimming pool supplied with water not coming from a network of water intended for human consumption.
