Phytocontrol Laboratory

Built in 2012 and inaugurated in June 2013, the Phytocontrol laboratory is located at the heart of the Georges Besse II park, an innovation and development centre for companies in Nîmes. This building brings to life 3,000 m² of technical platforms and offices, designed and fitted out on a tailor-made basis in line with the “forward flow” concept for analytical areas. The layout and volumes are optimised and glazed, creating an airy environment.

In 2018, Phytocontrol added 1,000 m² to its central laboratory to support its growth in food analysis. This extension houses analytical production and all R&D services. Supported by the Region, the State and Nîmes Métropole, this new state-of-the-art building brings the total area of the analytical centre to 4,000 m². This cutting-edge ISO 14001 technical platform is equipped with the latest analytical technologies.

In 2024, the Group embarked on a major new stage of development with the construction of an additional 5,500 m² building next to the historic site. This extension brings the total area of the Nîmes analytical platform to 12,000 m², making it one of the largest and most technologically advanced platforms in Europe in the field of food and environmental safety.
