MRL amendments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Three new European regulations have just been published in the Official Journal of the European Union:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32019R0038&amp;qid=1547628998582&amp;from=FR\"><strong>Regulation (EU) 2019\/38<\/strong><\/a> of 10 January 2019 amending Annexes II and V to Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 as regards maximum residue levels for <strong><u>iprodione<\/u><\/strong> in or on certain products.<\/p>\n<p>This regulation follows the publication of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/veille-reglementaire\/non-renouvellement-de-lapprobation-de-liprodione\/\"><strong>Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017\/2091<\/strong><\/a> of 14 November 2017 concerning the non-renewal of approval of the active substance <strong>iprodione<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Authorisations for plant protection products containing the active substance &#8220;<strong>iprodione<\/strong>&#8221; were to be withdrawn by 5 March 2018, with a grace period set at the latest until 5 June 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Due to its non-approval, the MRLs for this substance should be set at the limit of determination (LOD) in accordance with Article 18 of Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005.<\/p>\n<p>Many products therefore see their MRLs significantly lowered.<\/p>\n<p>This regulation will apply from <u>31 July 2019<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>See <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/tableau-LMR-2019-38.pdf\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a> the MRL comparison.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32019R0050&amp;qid=1547628998582&amp;from=FR\"><strong>Regulation (EU) 2019\/50<\/strong><\/a> of 11 January 2019 amending Annexes II, III, IV and V to Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 as regards maximum residue levels for chlorantraniliprole, clomazone, fenpicoxamid, cyclaniliprole, fenazaquin, fluoxastrobin, lambda-cyhalothrin, mepiquat, onion oil, thiacloprid and valifenalate in or on certain products.<\/p>\n<p>It applies from <u>1 January 2019<\/u>, except for the MRL of lambda-cyhalothrin on rye, which will apply from <u>26 January 2019<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>See <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/tableau-LMR-2019-50.pdf\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a> the MRL comparison.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;
