{"id":7871,"date":"2019-01-09T16:33:30","date_gmt":"2019-01-09T15:33:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/?p=7871"},"modified":"2026-08-28T01:48:36","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T23:48:36","slug":"corn-gmo-renewal-and-new-authorisation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/corn-gmo-renewal-and-new-authorisation\/","title":{"rendered":"GM maize: Renewal and new authorisation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 19 December 2018, two implementing decisions concerning the placing on the market of GM maize were published:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; A decision concerning a renewal, namely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/2018-2045-modif-1829-2003-Ma\u00efs-NK603-x-MON-810.pdf\"><strong><u>Implementing Decision (EU) 2018\/2045<\/u><\/strong><\/a> renewing the authorisation for the placing on the market of products containing, consisting of, or produced from genetically modified maize NK603 \u00d7 MON 810 (MON-\u00d8\u00d86\u00d83-6 \u00d7 MON-\u00d8\u00d881\u00d8-6), pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1829\/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council.<\/p>\n<p>This genetically modified maize had already received authorisation via Decision 2007\/701\/EC.
