The T\u00e9l\u00e9matin programme of 15\/05\/14 highlighted the voluntary self-monitoring approach implemented by RUNGIS wholesalers as part of FEL PARTENARIAT.<\/p>\n

In response to consumer expectations and requirements for fruit and vegetables, wholesalers carry out analyses with independent laboratories to ensure compliance of products placed on the market with European regulations.<\/p>\n

Phytocontrol is listed by FEL PARTENARIAT and carries out sampling directly on the Rungis site, as you can see in the video. The samples are then sent to the laboratory, which carries out a state-of-the-art multi-residue screening.<\/p>\n

The results obtained are then compared with the MRLs (EU Maximum Residue Levels) to check the sample’s compliance with EU regulations, and are provided within 3 days.<\/p>\n
