Phytocontrol Invest\u2019Innov, the group\u2019s strategic investment subsidiary, has just taken a stake alongside the start-up from Banyuls (Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es-Orientales), which is closing its first fundraising round to reach financing of nearly \u20ac1 million.<\/b><\/p>\n\n
This will enable Microbia Environnement to complete its R&D and move to the commercial launch of its innovative solutions for the sustainable management of natural water reserves. The company, founded by two scientists, Delphine Guillebault and Carmem-Lara Manes, develops biosensors for monitoring aquatic environments, and more specifically water pollution by toxic algae. This breakthrough innovation will make it possible to anticipate these health risks, particularly for the benefit of aquaculture.<\/p>\n\n
Since 2016, the young company has accumulated numerous awards and accolades recognising its work: the Hydroga\u00efa Coup de Coeur Trophy, the Export Trophy for eco-enterprises and the Alfred Sauvy Prize.<\/p>\n\n
In line with the development of its Hydro division, Phytocontrol\u2019s involvement with Microbia Environnement signals its strategic positioning on new solutions for anticipating microbiological contamination of water.<\/p>\n\n
