Order of 7 August 2017<\/a> on technical and procedural rules for the health safety of collective water misting systems, issued under Article R. 1335-20 of the French Public Health Code, came into force on 1 January 2018.<\/p>\nOperators must ensure the quality of the water supplying the collective water misting system. This monitoring consists of:
\n\u2013 sampling water and analysing the parameters subject to a limit and reference quality value set out in Annex I of the Order of 11 January 2007 (limit and reference quality value for water intended for human consumption), before first using the water to supply the system, then once every 5 years,
\n\u2013 carrying out water sampling and a P1-type analysis, as specified in the Order of 11 January 2007, once a year.<\/p>\n
The concentration of Legionella pneumophila<\/em> must not exceed 1000 CFU\/L. If it is detected, the operator of the collective water misting system must take preventive measures such as increased water quality monitoring and improved system maintenance.<\/p>\nYour Phytocontrol laboratory is able to carry out the parameters listed in the Order of 11 January 2007, P1-type analyses, and Legionella testing in misted water.<\/p>\n
