{"id":544731,"date":"2026-08-27T02:47:42","date_gmt":"2026-08-27T00:47:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.phytocontrol.com\/uncategorized\/order-of-3-december-2020-on-artificial-bathing-water\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T02:47:42","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T00:47:42","slug":"order-of-3-december-2020-on-artificial-bathing-water","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/order-of-3-december-2020-on-artificial-bathing-water\/","title":{"rendered":"Order of 3 December 2020 on artificial bathing water"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 17 April 2019, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/affichTexte.do?cidTexte=JORFTEXT000038383157&amp;categorieLien=id\">the Order of 15 April 2019<\/a> was published in the JORF, concerning the water quality analysis programme and the quality limits and references for artificial bathing water.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This order established quality limits and\/or references for <strong><u>bathing water<\/u><\/strong> and <strong><u>fill water<\/u><\/strong> for artificial bathing facilities, as well as the procedures for conducting sanitary controls.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quality limits and\/or references have been set for the following parameters:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Escherichia coli<\/em> (MPN\/100mL)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Intestinal enterococci (MPN\/100mL)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Pseudomonas aeruginosa<\/em> (CFU\/100mL)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Staphylococcus aureus<\/em> (CFU\/100mL)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water transparency (metre)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Total phosphorus expressed as P (\u00b5g\/L), only for closed-system artificial bathing water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biofilm development on all bathing facility surfaces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cyanobacterial bloom (cells\/mL)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/download\/file\/raRlE9gofcET7O-TJmpU4Ne28XWm-Rn2rXJfi6SAZBY=\/JOE_TEXTE\">The Order of 3 December 2020<\/a> has just been published, amending the Order of 15 April 2019.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The term &#8220;Staphylococcus aureus&#8221; has been replaced by the term &#8220;pathogenic staphylococci&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This correction was made to align with standard NF T90-412: &#8220;Water quality \u2013 Enumeration of pathogenic staphylococci (coagulase positive) \u2013 Membrane filtration method&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phytocontrol holds the national approval from the Ministry of Health for carrying out sampling and analyses for the sanitary control of water.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will find details of our accreditations in our COFRAC technical annex No. 1-6066.<br\/>For any information, please contact us.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need technical, regulatory or pricing information?
