{"id":544474,"date":"2026-08-27T01:24:42","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T23:24:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.phytocontrol.com\/uncategorized\/new-orders-for-water-status-monitoring\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T01:24:42","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T23:24:42","slug":"new-orders-for-water-status-monitoring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/new-orders-for-water-status-monitoring\/","title":{"rendered":"New orders for water status monitoring"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two texts were published in the <em>Journal officiel<\/em> on 11 May 2022:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/jorf\/id\/JORFTEXT000045780020\">the Order of 26 April 2022<\/a> amending the Order of 25 January 2010 establishing the water status monitoring programme pursuant to Article R. 212-22 of the Environment Code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/jorf\/id\/JORFTEXT000045780020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the Order of 19 April 2022<\/a>, amending the Order of 12 January 2010 on the methods and criteria to be used to delimit and classify water bodies and produce a status assessment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Ecological Transition had submitted these two orders for public consultation in March 2022, highlighting the need to continue aligning with the requirements of the Water Framework Directive and to take into account progress in monitoring methods and principles.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Order of 26 April provides the list of quality parameters to be monitored, the sampling and analysis methods to be used, and the required analysis frequencies.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, 73 substances have been added to groundwater chemical status monitoring, based on various criteria:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Occurrence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Risk of exceeding quality standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toxicity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ecotoxicity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Potential for endocrine disruption<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relevance for monitoring groundwater quality with regard to drinking water use (including PFAS compounds).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phytocontrol holds the national approval from the Ministry of Health and the Environment to carry out sampling and analysis for the sanitary control of water.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Details of our accreditations can be found in our COFRAC technical annex No 1-6066.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need technical, regulatory or pricing information?
