<\/p>\n\n

Regulation (EU) 2022\/2002<\/a> of 21 October 2022 amending Regulation (EC) No. 1881\/2006 as regards maximum levels of dioxins and dioxin-like PCBs in certain foodstuffs has been published in the Official Journal.<\/p>\n\n

This new text introduces specific maximum levels for meat and meat products from goats, horses, rabbits, wild boar, wild game birds and deer, as well as for the livers of goats, horses and wild game birds.<\/p>\n\n

The maximum levels set for hen eggs are extended to all poultry eggs, with the exception of goose eggs.<\/p>\n\n

In addition, given the new data available, maximum levels for dioxins and the sum of dioxins and dioxin-like PCBs in milk and dairy products have been lowered.<\/p>\n\n

These new limits will come into force on 01\/01\/23.<\/p>\n\n
