It amends the MRLs for the following residues: <strong>bromopropylate, chloridazon, fenpropimorph, imazaquin and tralkoxydim.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Bromopropylate<\/strong> has never been approved in the EU, so the MRLs for this substance are set at the LOD specific to each matrix.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Chloridazon<\/strong> and <strong>imazaquin<\/strong> have not been authorised in the EU since <strong>31\/12\/2018<\/strong>. <strong>Fenpropimorph<\/strong> and <strong>tralkoxydim<\/strong> have not been authorised in the EU since <strong>30\/04\/2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All existing authorisations for PPPs containing these molecules have been withdrawn. The MRLs for these active substances have therefore been lowered to the LOD specific to each substance\/matrix pair.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, some MRLs have been maintained, particularly for fenpropimorph:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The MRL for fenpropimorph in bananas (0.6 mg\/kg) corresponds to an import tolerance request from Venezuela and poses no risk to consumers.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The MRLs for fenpropimorph in barley, oats, rye, wheat, sugar beet, milk and all mammalian tissues correspond to Codex MRLs, which pose no risk to consumers.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For all other products, the MRLs have been lowered to the LOD specific to each matrix.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The regulation applies from <strong>21\/10\/2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Article 2 of the regulation specifies that the former MRLs continue to apply to food produced or imported into the Union before 21 October 2023.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need technical, regulatory or pricing information?
