The presence of phthalates in water is a cause for concern due to their potential effects on human health and the environment.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Regulation:<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regulatory authorities and water monitoring bodies are working to assess and control the presence of phthalates in water. Standards and regulations have been put in place to limit phthalate levels in drinking water.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Five phthalates are subject to regulatory requirements in fresh water, with limits of quantification ranging from 0.1 to 0.4 \u00b5g\/L:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>n-Butyl phthalate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dimethyl phthalate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diethyl phthalate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Butyl benzyl phthalate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Phytocontrol solution<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Phytocontrol laboratory complies with the regulations and offers you a COFRAC-accredited method for phthalates, using direct injection with very low limits of quantification for raw, atypical and drinking water.
