In terms of food safety, residues of these veterinary medicines, particularly antibiotics, must be monitored across all products of animal origin.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The applicable regulation in Europe is Commission Regulation (EU) No 37\/2010 of 22 December 2009 and its subsequent amendments, which establishes maximum residue levels for pharmacologically active substances.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Control the risk of veterinary drug residues in your products<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you want to know whether one or more veterinary drug residues are present or absent in your product, Phytocontrol can offer this screening for milk (including powdered milk), eggs, fish, meat and offal, with a turnaround time of just 5 to 7 days.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our analytical method covers 14 families, representing more than 185 molecules, 95% of which are accredited by COFRAC.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 14 families are as follows:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tetracyclines Quinolones Sulfonamides Penicillins &amp; Cephalosporins Amphenicols<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nitroimidazoles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Macrolides<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Benzimidazoles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NSAIDs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Glucocorticoids<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Neuroleptics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avermectin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anthelmintics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organophosphates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following this, it is possible to carry out <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.phytocontrol.com\/en\/our-analyses\/residues-of-veterinary-medicinal-products\/\">quantification of the detected molecules using our accredited multi-residue screening<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need technical, regulatory or pricing information?
