{"id":544140,"date":"2026-08-27T00:14:06","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T22:14:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.phytocontrol.com\/uncategorized\/eu-authorisation-of-3-new-gmo-maize-varieties\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T00:14:06","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T22:14:06","slug":"eu-authorisation-of-3-new-gmo-maize-varieties","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/eu-authorisation-of-3-new-gmo-maize-varieties\/","title":{"rendered":"EU authorisation of 3 new GMO maize varieties"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The European Commission has just authorised 3 new GMO maize varieties intended for human and animal consumption:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MON95275 maize via Implementing Decision (EU) 2025\/694.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>DP910521 maize via Implementing Decision (EU) 2025\/699.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MON94804 maize via Implementing Decision (EU) 2025\/692<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The authorisations are granted for ten years, and any product obtained from these GMOs will be subject to European Union labelling and traceability rules. The authorisations permit consumption, not cultivation, of these GMOs.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your Phytocontrol laboratory offers analysis of these three GMO maize varieties under COFRAC accreditation; you can consult our COFRAC technical annex No. 1-1904 available in your customer area or on the COFRAC website.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need technical, regulatory or pricing information?
