The use of plant protection products based on deltamethrin is authorised on kiwi crops in France. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Regulation EU 2024\/1342<\/strong> lowered the European MRL for deltamethrin in kiwis to 0.01 mg\/kg. This EU MRL has applied since 11 December 2024. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/jorf\/id\/JORFTEXT000051725138#:~:text=En%20application%20de%20la%20r%C3%A9glementation,%C3%A0%20titre%20gracieux%20ou%20on%C3%A9reux.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>The French order of 5 June 2025<\/strong><\/a> sets a national MRL of <strong>0.15 mg\/kg<\/strong> for <strong>deltamethrin<\/strong> in <strong>kiwis<\/strong> placed on the French market. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This MRL was established pursuant to Article 18.4 of Regulation EC No 396\/2005: <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cIn exceptional cases, and in particular following the use of plant protection products in accordance with Article 8(4) of Directive 91\/414\/EEC or in application of the obligations set out in Council Directive 2000\/29\/EC ( 1 ), a Member State may authorise, within its territory, the placing on the market and\/or the feeding to animals of treated food or feed not complying with the provisions of paragraph 1, provided that such food or feed does not present an unacceptable risk.\u201d<\/em> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A kiwi treated with deltamethrin that complies with the French MRL but exceeds the EU MRL is therefore authorised only on French territory. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The order came into force on <strong>14 June 2025<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It remains applicable as long as the EU MRL has not been amended at European level. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your Phytocontrol laboratory offers the analysis of <strong>deltamethrin<\/strong> and pesticide residues under COFRAC accreditation; you can consult our COFRAC technical appendix No. 1-1904, available in your customer area or on the COFRAC website. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need technical, regulatory or pricing information?
