have just been published by the European Commission:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Regulation (EU) 2024\/1078<\/strong> of 15 April 2024 amends Annexes II and IV to Regulation (EC) 396\/2005 as regards maximum residue levels for azoxystrobin, flonicamid, isofetamid, mefentrifluconazole, metazachlor and pyrimethanil.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Azoxystrobin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The MRL for hops increases from 30 to 40 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Flonicamid<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MRLs for leafy cabbage increase from 0.03 to 0.5 mg\/kg and for kohlrabi from 0.03 to 0.15 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Isofetamid<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MRLs for lamb&#8217;s lettuce, escarole, watercress, rocket and baby leaf crops increase from 0.01 to 20 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mefentrifluconazole<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For citrus fruit and pistachios, MRLs increase from 0.01 to 0.5 mg\/kg<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For strawberries, from 0.01 to 0.8 mg\/kg,<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For other berries and small fruits and table olives, from 0.01 to 2 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For persimmons and dried legumes, from 0.01 to 0.2 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For beetroot, carrots, celeriac, horseradish, Jerusalem artichokes, parsnips, radishes, salsify, swedes and turnips, from 0.01 to 0.1 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For tomatoes and aubergines, Brussels sprouts: from 0.01 to 0.4 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For peppers, from 0.01 to 0.9 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For cucurbits, from 0.01 to 0.3 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For cabbages and artichokes, from 0.01 to 0.7 mg\/kg<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For headed cabbage and beans, from 0.01 to 0.04 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For rocket, baby leaf crops, spinach and fresh herbs, from 0.01 to 7 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For peas (shelled), linseed, poppy seeds, mustard seeds and camelina seeds, from 0.01 to 0.08 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For cardoons, celery, fennel, rhubarb and olives for oil production, from 0.01 to 3 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For hops, from 0.05 to 15 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Metazachlor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The MRL for leeks increases from 0.06 to 3 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The MRL for honey increases from 0.05 to 0.08 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pyrimethanil<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For table grapes, from 5 to 6 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For garlic, from 0.01 to 0.03 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For honey, from 0.05 to 0.3 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the <em>Official Journal of the European Union<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Regulation (EU) 2024\/1077<\/strong> amends Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 as regards maximum residue levels for 2,4-DB, iodosulfuron-methyl, mesotrione and pyraflufen-ethyl.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2,4-DB<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MRLs for cattle, sheep, goats and equidae decrease from 0.1, 0.2, 0.4 to 0.05 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MRLs for milk decrease from 1.5 to 0.05 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Iodosulfuron-methyl<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For iodosulfuron-methyl, the MRLs set out in Annex II to Regulation 396\/2005 are set at the LOD specific to the product concerned.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mesotrione<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For mesotrione, for sugar cane, the MRL set out in Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 is set at the LOD.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pyraflufen-ethyl<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For pyraflufen-ethyl, for hops, the MRL set out in Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 is set at the LOD specific to the product concerned.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This regulation applies from 6 November 2024.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Regulation (EU) 2024\/1076<\/strong> amends Annexes II and V to Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 as regards maximum residue levels for bispyribac, metosulam, oryzalin, oxasulfuron and triazoxide in or on certain products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All existing authorisations for plant protection products containing these active substances have been revoked. No Codex MRLs (CXLs) or import tolerances have been established for these active substances. The MRLs for these active substances should be set at the limit of determination (&#8220;LOD&#8221;).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All MRLs for bispyribac, metosulam, oryzalin, oxasulfuron and triazoxide have already been set at the limit of determination in Annex II to Regulation 396\/2005. They should be removed from Annex II to the regulation and the MRLs for these active substances should be set in Annex V to the regulation, at the product-specific limit of determination.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the <em>Official Journal of the European Union<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your Phytocontrol laboratory offers pesticide residue analysis under COFRAC accreditation.
