{"id":18120,"date":"2020-06-19T14:50:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-19T12:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/?p=18120"},"modified":"2026-09-19T22:10:52","modified_gmt":"2026-09-19T20:10:52","slug":"publication-eu-regulations-2020-785-and-2020-770-amendments-to-mrls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/publication-eu-regulations-2020-785-and-2020-770-amendments-to-mrls\/","title":{"rendered":"Publication of Regulations (EU) 2020\/785 and 2020\/770 \u2013 MRL amendments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartFragment--><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two new regulations amending Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 concerning maximum residue levels for certain substances have been published in the OJEU.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32020R0785&amp;qid=1592574322739&amp;from=FR\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Regulation (EU) 2020\/770<\/a> amends the MRLs applicable to residues of myclobutanil, napropamide and cinosulfuron\/sintofen in foodstuffs.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under Article 2, for foods produced or imported into the Union before 02\/01\/2021, the previous MRLs will remain applicable.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This regulation is applicable from <strong>02\/01\/2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32020R0770&amp;qid=1592574426675&amp;from=FR\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Regulation (EU) 2020\/785<\/a> amends the MRLs applicable to residues of chromafenozide, fluometuron, pencycuron, sedaxane, tau-fluvalinate and triazoxide in foodstuffs.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under Article 2, for foods produced or imported into the Union before 06\/01\/2021, the previous MRLs will remain applicable.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This regulation is applicable from <strong>06\/01\/2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our laboratory, an expert in pesticide analysis, carries out analysis of these residues in foodstuffs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/a-propos\/nos-accreditations\/\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">under COFRAC accreditation (Scope No 1-1904 available on the COFRAC website)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need technical, regulatory or pricing information?
