{"id":17912,"date":"2020-05-04T17:44:00","date_gmt":"2020-05-04T15:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/?p=17912"},"modified":"2026-09-19T22:20:05","modified_gmt":"2026-09-19T20:20:05","slug":"eu-pesticides-control-programme-2021-2022-and-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/eu-pesticides-control-programme-2021-2022-and-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"EU pesticide control programme 2021, 2022 and 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020\/585 of 27 April 2020 concerning a coordinated multiannual control programme of the Union for 2021, 2022 and 2023 to ensure compliance with maximum residue levels of pesticides in and on food of plant and animal origin and to assess the consumer exposure to these residues was published on 29 April 2020.<\/strong><br\/>This regulation will enter into force on 1 January 2021.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thirty to forty foodstuffs make up the main components of the diet in the Union. Since pesticide use changes considerably over a three-year period, pesticides must be monitored in these foodstuffs over a series of three-year cycles in order to assess consumer exposure and the application of European Union legislation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your Phytocontrol laboratory is already able to test for all the active substances included in this 2021, 2022 and 2023 control programme!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The control programme will cover 36\ndifferent foodstuffs, for a total of 683 samples to be analysed.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The targeted matrices will be\nas follows:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In 2021:<\/strong> Table grapes, Bananas, Grapefruits,\nAubergines, Broccoli, Melons, Cultivated mushrooms, Peppers, Wheat, Virgin\nolive oil, Bovine fat and hen eggs.  <br\/>\n<strong>In\n2022:<\/strong>  Apples, Strawberries, Peaches including\nnectarines and other hybrids, Wines (red or white), Lettuces, Head cabbages,\nTomatoes, Spinach, Oats, Barley, Cow&#8217;s milk and Pig fat.<br\/>\n<strong>In\n2023:<\/strong> Oranges, Pears, Kiwis, Cauliflowers,\nOnions, Carrots, Potatoes, Dried beans, Rye, Brown rice (husked\nrice), Poultry fat and Bovine liver.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/>\nYou will find the list of molecules to be tested per matrix in Annex I, part C of the regulation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the\nsampling programme defined in point 5 of the regulation, each Member State will sample and\nanalyse:<br\/>\n<strong>In\n2021:<\/strong> 10 samples of processed cereal-based\nbaby food<br\/>\n<strong>In\n2022:<\/strong> 10 samples of baby food\nfor infants and young children other than infant\nformula, follow-on formula and cereal-based\nbaby food.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In 2023:<\/strong> 5 samples of infant\nformula and 5 samples of follow-on formula.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please find attached the link to the regulation\n: <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32020R0585&amp;from=FR\">Regulation (EU) No 2020\/585<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your office will answer all your requests for information, please do not hesitate to contact us!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020\/585 of 27 April 2020 concerning a coordinated multiannual control programme of&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":551915,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[181],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-17912","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-regulatory-watch"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v28.4 (Yoast SEO v28.5) -
