{"id":17897,"date":"2020-05-29T17:32:00","date_gmt":"2020-05-29T15:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.phytocontrol.com\/?p=17897"},"modified":"2026-08-28T00:25:06","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T22:25:06","slug":"publication-eu-regulation-2020-703-amendments-to-mrls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/publication-eu-regulation-2020-703-amendments-to-mrls\/","title":{"rendered":"Publication of Regulation (EU) 2020\/703 \u2013 MRL amendments"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/FR\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32020R0703&amp;qid=1590650771158&amp;from=FR\">Regulation (EU) 2020\/703<\/a> amending Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 has been published in the OJEU.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This regulation amends the MRLs applicable to <strong>residues of dimethoate and omethoate on fresh cherries.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The active substance \u201cdimethoate\u201d was banned via <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.phytocontrol.com\/en\/regulatory-watch\/non-renewal-of-the-active-substance-dimethoate\/\">Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019\/1090<\/a>. Authorisations for plant protection products containing the active substance \u201cdimethoate\u201d were withdrawn on 31 December 2019. The grace period granted by Member States extended to 30 September 2019 for products used on cherries.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The MRLs for dimethoate and omethoate have therefore been lowered to <strong>0.01 mg\/kg<\/strong> on fresh cherries.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This regulation <strong>is applicable<\/strong> from <strong>16\/12\/20.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our laboratory carries out analysis of dimethoate and omethoate in non-fatty products of plant origin <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.phytocontrol.com\/en\/about-us\/our-accreditations-2\/\">under COFRAC accreditation (Scope No 1-1904 available on the COFRAC website)<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please contact our customer service: dedicated line <a href=\"tel:+33%20800%20900%20775\">+33 800 900 775<\/a> or by email <a href=\"mailto:service-clients@phytocontrol.com\">service-clients@phytocontrol.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Regulation (EU) 2020\/703 amending Regulation (EC) No 396\/2005 has been published in the OJEU.
